Large Hadron Collider & CERN Laboratory images

I had the awesome opportunity to photograph CERN Laboratory and the Large Hadron Collider. The image pictured is of the CMS detector, part of the experiment that proved the existence of the Higgs Boson, a particle which gives matter mass.

  1. Bryn: Neat stuff! I really like the abstractions because I don’t have to understand what all the machinery is for, it just looks cool in a design sort of way. Looks like you enjoyed the trip.

    • Thanks for commenting George! The experiment is so massively complex, it was sort of abstract in my head! so I thought I’d play a bit making it even more abstract.

  2. Great photographs Bryn. The abstractions are a great extension. The CMS was so tough to photograph. Really enjoyed your other image galleries as well.
